- Now for Xbox 360 game news:
- The developer behind Toy Soldiers is releasing a cross-platform Xbox 360/ Windows Phone game, titled Ascend New Gods
- Matter is coming, not too much more is known
- Plus there’s a new title coming from Twisted Pixel, Loco Cycle
- Microsoft also announced Tomb Raiders first DLC will be a 360 Exclusive and the first piece of DLC for South Park: The Stick of Truth will come out on 360 first
- Microsoft has also acquired Press Play, the studio behind Max and the Magic Marker
- Onto Sony News:
- Wonder book which will utilize Move was announced with a first installment of J.K. Rowling’s Book of Spells
- There’s also a new title ‘Beyond: Two Souls’ which will be starring Ellen Page
- Assassins Creed 3: Liberation will be a PS Vita exclusive which follows a female assassins, a first for the franchise and ties into Assassins Creed 3
- And for Nintendo News:
- Platinum Games is creating Project P-100 for the Wii U
- Nintendo also showed off Nintendoland which is supposed to show the strengths of the new console
- Ubisoft is creating Zombi U for the Wii U which will be a zombie survival horror
- Nintendo announced a Wii will support 2 gamepads
- Plus they’re working on a way to bring your saved cames and content from the Wii to Wii U
- Ubisoft Announced Watch Dogs which looks like the show Person of Interest meets Assassin’s Creed
- Ubisoft also showed off the next Splinter Cell – Splinter Cell: Blacklist which seems to continue Conviction’s style of more focus on shooting than stealth
- EA pushed their new physics engine for Madden 13 – The Infinity Physics Engine
- EA has also acquired the UFC Rights from THQ
- Following that news, THQ shut down THQ San Diego, the studio responsible for their UFC games
- E3 might not be in the city of angels next year due to the construction of a new stadium that might hinder how smoothly the convention will run, not new city has been stated as they’re still deciding on to move it or not
- Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 will be released July 10th on PC, XBLA, iOS, and Andriod for 5 bucks
- Tomba will be coming to PS One Classics on PSN, June 19th for 10 dollars
- Counter-Strike:Go will be available August 21st on XBLA and Steam for 15 dollars
- Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD might be coming out July 11th, but should be 15 bucks
- OnLive is coming to LG Smart TV’s and Gaikai is coming to Samsung Smart TV’s
- 38 Studios has declared bankruptcy, surprise!
- Epic is opening Epic Baltimore, filled with primarily ex-Big Huge Games and 38 Studios employees
- Dead Island is getting a stand-alone expansion: Dead Island Riptide, more info should come later this summer
- Zeno Clash is getting a sequel coming in 2013
- Stainless Games to hire 20 new employees to complete Carmageddon Reincarnation after the success of their Kickstarter
